Memphis Road Trip

Hunk-a-hunk of burning love. What a trip. Stayed the first night at our standby motel in Shamrock TX. the following night we stayed in Ft Smith AR at a pirates cove ABNB. Interesting place just a couple of blocks from an Italian restaurant located in an old historical home. On to Memphis, but first we took a side track into Arkansas' wine region and glad we did. While tasting wines at one of the wineries we met a couple from San Diego doing the star gazing tour across the country. We invited them on a picnic and they have become good friends. What can one say about the history of Memphis. Took an early morning tour of Beale St, visited Sun Studios, Graceland, the Lorraine Motel and of course Stax studio. We did an evening dinner tour down the Mississippi. Danced and had some great Memphis BBQ. Once again a visit through America was rewarding especially the meeting of new friends.
