Maria Gropp's heART of New Mexico Art is the culmination of a lifelong passion for visual art. I discovered my natural talent at a young age, winning a drawing contest in the second grade at Lucy Auld Elementary in Denver. From there, I attended art classes in color media at Metropolitan State University in Denver and the Colorado Institute of Art in Manitou Springs, Colorado. After retirement, I decided to pursue my passion for painting and began selling my paintings part-time. Today, I'm proud to offer my services as a visual artist specializing in commissions, creating original pieces of art inspired by the beauty of New Mexico's landscapes, wildlife, and native American art.
